AEQUO advised Raiffeisen Bank International
AEQUO has acted for Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) on the extension of ECA-covered finance to the tune of approximately EUR 4 million to EpiCentr Group.
Within the framework of long-term cooperation between RBI and the EpiCentr Group, the Austrian bank has granted a five-year facility to Epicentr-K LLC to increase the agrarian fleet of the Ukrainian company’s agricultural division. The total value of the transaction is approximately EUR 4 million.
This facility is covered by an export guarantee issued by Euler Hermes Aktiengesellschaft, which served as the export credit agency. The facility interest rate is fixed at the level of the EURIBOR 6 months plus margin. AEQUO’s lawyers assisted RBI in strategy determination of the transaction structure, revising and negotiating the facility agreement and other transaction documentation, and issued the legal opinion in favour of RBI.
AEQUO’s project team consisted of associate Olesia Mashtaler and counsel Denys Kulgavyi, who worked under the supervision of Yulia Kyrpa, partner and head of Banking and Finance.
AVELLUM advised ICU
AVELLUM acted as the legal counsel to Investment Capital Ukraine on the sale of the remaining stake in alternative energy projects with a total capacity of over 200 MW to VR Capital Group. The transaction covered the following solar power plants jointly developed by ICU and VR: Kamianets-Podilsk in Khmelnytskyi Region, Solar Capital in Kherson Region, a number of power plants in Mykolaiv Region.
AVELLUM provided full legal support to ICU in negotiating and signing the transaction documents, as well as in completing the transaction.
