UAA welcomes its new Board

On 19 November 2018 a General Meeting of members of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association took place, where the new Board of the Association was elected.

The Board is a permanent governing body of the Association consisting of at least three but not more than nine members, elected every three years among members of the Association. The President of the Association is head of the Board (ex officio). The Board takes decisions on all matters not referred to the reserved matters of the General Meeting and the President. Traditionally, the Board includes both Ukrainian and foreign arbitration practitioners. This year, the election was conducted for 8 Board Members.

According to the results of the voting the new Board of the Association consists of:

       Doudko Artem (Osborne Clarke)

       Droug Olexander (Sayenko Kharenko)

       Guillard Sazhko Anna (Shearman & Sterling)

       Khrapoutski Alexandre (SBH Law Offices)

       Khvalei Vladimir (Baker & McKenzie)

       Kostytska Maria (Winston & Strawn)

       Malskyy Markian (Arzinger)

       Petrov Yaroslav (Asters)

 

Ukrainian Arbitration Association was founded in September 2012 by the initiative of the Ukrainian and foreign arbitration experts. The key goals of the Association include, first of all, the promotion of Ukraine, and Kiev in particular, as the seat of arbitration, facilitation and support of interest in international arbitration, extension of knowledge and exchange of experience in cross-border dispute resolution, as well as enhancing cooperation and communications among practitioners in international arbitration around the world.
